Jason L. Rothman, Esq. has been counseling construction industry clients for more than a decade. In his practice, Mr. Rothman has represented owners, contractors, vendors, design professionals and sureties in disputes involving mechanic’s liens, extra work, project impacts, delays, wrongful termination, performance and payment bonds, property damage, personal injury, and claims involving the Labor Law and prevailing wages. He also regularly drafts and negotiates construction agreements including, construction management agreements, prime contracts, architect agreements and subcontracts. Mr. Rothman is a lecturer on construction contract law before the New York City Lawyers' Association.

Mr. Rothman also has extensive experience in representing purchasers, sellers, landlords and tenants in real estate transactions and litigation including residential and commercial property sales and leases, property disputes, nuisance claims, breach of contract claims and non-payment and holdover proceedings.

In his practice, Mr. Rothman has successfully prosecuted and defended numerous construction and property cases at trial and arbitration. Mr. Rothman, however, strives to successfully achieve his clients' goals through less costly and time consuming alternative dispute resolutions.
